ESF Employability project
We successfully carried out a Tees Valley ESF project enabling young people with disabilities to gain the skills, experiences and knowledge to enter the world of work or education. This was very successful and this led to the appointment of 2 apprentices who work on the grounds of the farm along with 44% into Education and 38% into Employment.
Visits from the local Community
During a Friday we afternoon we had an idea of inviting different people of interest into the farm and tell us about what they do and share experiences.
Matthew Garner was very keen to help the organisation and a planning committee was born!!!
We had lots of visitors from the emergency services to singers and community groups who interested us. We learnt so much and we thank them all for their time and patience to share their stories.
Visitors included
- Armed police
- First aid training
- The Fire Brigade
- The Ambulance Service
- Prison service and drug dogs
