Bespoke Training Program
There are lots of opportunities on the farm to experience, from working with the animals, gardening or working in the Orangery coffee shop bistro and lots more
Aimee is our first client on this new training programme. Aimee will be working in the Café/Bistro and hopefully later to be employed half time with one of our Employability Partners Chapters Deli in Stokesley. .
PEC’s- Picture Exchange Communication
Aimee is training as a Waitress in the Orangery and finds writing orders down difficult. I developed an alternative menu to help her achieve her goals. The Velcro menu has pictures as well as text and her job instantly becomes easier.
“I as her mother feel supported by everyone at JPC Farm and I was very impressed with the teaching aids used to enable Aimee to approach customers and confidently take orders. I was surprised at how much progress she made each week and I am very proud of Aimee and how she adapted in the workroom and café floor.”
